Keef Launches New Label, 43B, Signs Lil Gnar


Veteran Chicago musician and excavator innovator Chief Keef has launched a new label titled, 43B ( “Forget Everybody!”) in collaboration with RBC Records and BMG, and his first signing was Atlanta-based musician Lil Gnars (pictured above, correct, with Keef). Get ready for 2014!, Chief Keef has published numerous songs through RBC — including; “Sorry, 0 for the Weight” “Thot Breaker” and “Mansion Musick” the latter was acquired by BMG four years ago. Pertaining to the declaration, 43Bis a multi-tiered label, providing marketing and distribution assistance to performers and creators. It furthermore observes that the name ( “Forget Everybody”) the emphasis is on the importance of individuality and independence. The label will be manned by Chief Keef’s lifelong supervisor, Idris Dykes, who will continue to act as co-CEO, as well asSophie Kautz who has been hired as the face of A & R and advertising. “43B has been a passion project of mine for over a year, and I’m ready to give artists that are changing the game a label where they can really succeed” Keef tells. “I’ve remained indie for almost 10 years, consequently I would really like to transfer on my expertise of the sector to performers who are changing the society so they can make it to the top.” Dykes added, “I’m incredibly excited about the formation of 43B.
